Ditto, best of the three I thought.

Absolutely!

Absolutely!

OK, don't have an orgasm Chappers.

Can't agree with either of you - there's subtle breaking the fourth wall and there's OTT, which this was to the point of exasperation. Far too much which spoilt it.

It was certainly not perfect. Doesn't mean it wasn't the best of the three.

You make a very good point there.
I suppose Hospital People was the default winner for me because it's the only one I could sit through without vomiting blood.

Sorry Herc but you didn't understand my comment.

Absolutely was a Scottish sketch show featuring Docherty and now the production company.

In your opinion.

Oh I know the series of which you speak, your comment was a bit arcane.

Stoneybridge!

Stoneybridge!

Just one of hundreds of great sketches!

Katherine Parkinson and Sally Bretton, to me, always seem to play themselves so it was good to see other actors in the role. Haven't watched the other Playhouse programmes but they're in the watch list.

Loved it personally. Not quite has good as Broken Biscuits, but up there. Far better than Hospital People (which I struggled to watch).

Also - Jack Docherty. The very same Jack Docherty who was on Channel 5 when it launched. I knew I knew the name, but couldn't remember where from. Well now I know.

And Laura Aikman.... loved her in everything I've seen her in. Nigel Havers on the other hand ... he seemed a bit...what's the word. Wooden?

Yes, and thank you! :D
