Sad news. Never has an actor been so different in real life to the character he plays. Frank Kelly may have died, but I'm pretty sure Father Jack is immortal.

I always enjoyed his lighter moments, such as skipping lightly through the flowers during his 'wonderful sense of serenity' phase and when he sang in a rocking chair during the finale.
