All the happy clappy Government ads featuring actors playing "normal folk" saying how wonderful it is that the minimum wage will give "hard working people" an extra 50 pence an hour. This between programmes presented by millionaire celebrities and news of 35 year old football nonentities going to China to earn £200,000 a week.
In the same vein, all the so called "dentists" telling you why this or that toothpaste is the best they have found from all their years of dental practice - no you're not, you are a f**king actor. Now piss off.

Don't think I've seen them but When I first started travelling to UK I noticed lots of walkabout Bars. I looked at the menu once- most, if not all of it, I struggled to figure what was Aussie about it. I bet they serve Fosters inside as well.

Not sure if this is a new thing or if I have just started noticing. "News" sites or morning television shows that feature a person who was in some TV show or movie twenty odd years ago with some sort of headline like "you won't believe what they Look like Now!" They then post/show what the person looks like now. If it was a child actor they remark how "grown up" they look or if it is someone in their twenties at the time - how old they now look!
Guess What! People are supposed to age. That means that children grow up and adults will look older.
