Can you make market research hilarious?

Good afternoon...

We're a small online specialist market research agency and as part of our attempt to compete with the big boys in our industry, we have to produce a demonstration of our softwares capability.

If you have ever seen an online survey, you're asked to rate things, click boxes for yes / no etc etc and in most cases, it's far from interesting.......

Every company like us shows pretty much the same kind of things in their demo surveys so in order to stand out, I want to make our demo hilarious... utilising the typical dry sense of English humour.... what do you think?

Anyone interested? This is a paid job and we'd work out something hourly maybe - I'm open to suggestions.

Email me on brian@omnisis.co.uk if you're interested.

In the mad rush to answer the question "Can we make Market Research hilarious?" no one thought to ask the question "SHOULD we make Market Research hilarious?"

Touche

Not sure exactly what you are asking for?

Do you want a spoof subject and a list of spoof questions? Such as -

ARE YOU A JEDI?

Q) At what speed do you feel comfortable driving with your eyes closed?

5 mph....... 25 mph....... 3 x the speed of light

Q) Is Ja Ja Binks?

An ally....... an enemy......... a terrible mistake

or are you after something more elaborate?

?

I'll be giving more details soon - I just wanted to gauge a level of interest first.

I'm interested. Really.

To paraphrase Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory..... "Sarcasm?"

Nope. It sounds interesting and would make a change from the usual.

So, I suppose what I must ask myself is:
a) Am I interested?
b) Am I not interested?
c) Am I interested, but only because I've just taken my medication and everything seems interesting at the moment?
d) Am I not interested, but only because nurse has replaced my tablets with smarties because of last night's dancing and she knows I can't tell the difference?
e) Have I any idea what's actually going on at any time of the day or night?
f) Will the job be held open for me until I get out?

I currently work in market research, and am trying to write a play or a sitcom about a market research company. Could you give me a few more details about what you want and maybe I could help...

I started to answer the Jedi question, what were you asking again?
I think you'll find a lot of interest on here.

Apologies for radio silence to one and all - a holiday coupled with a tooth abscess rendered me out of action for 2 weeks.

I'm back at the coalface now but catching up on invigorating things like late tax payments and VAT returns amongst other bureaucratic nonsense the government uses to stifle us humans.

Anyway - I hope to have something to share by the end of this week and thanks for you patience.

Did anything ever come of this? I sent some submissions and was told I'd been one of 16 longlisted (I've no idea how many applied). But Brian sounded like he was always very busy with other work and recently he stopped responding to my occasional polite "any news on this?" queries.
A shame.

It is still all alive and well - there have been a number of issues (personal as well as business) that has required all my attention. I will be in touch with everyone - I just can't promise when unfortunately.

Thanks for your patience.

Thanks Brian!
