I did really like his/their first album.
Wonderful Life, the Sweetest Thing etc. Great sound.

RIP Colin.
"Wonderful Life" is one of my favourite singles of my teenage years. Loved the song (still do!) and the melancholic, depeche mode-esque video. Even got the album.
As I said the first album had several classic songs.
Another member of a classic rock band has passed away:

It is good Gordon. Slow Moving Millie did a great cover but I can't find it on YouTube (it's on Spotify).
I saw him a few years ago - 2005 to be precise - when the reformed Starship played a gig at my local club. Quite an evening.

Thank God I don't have to watch that rubbish.
Damn! The Damned at the Royal Albert Hall in May appears to be sold out.
Found this old pic of me and my old buddy Neil Tennant from 2000:
Quote: Gordon Bennett @ 17th April 2015, 1:53 PM BSTMy best one is definitely the one I got from Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe after their gig. My best friend has won two "Meet & Greet"-tickets for a Pet Shop Boys concert in Zürich...or was it in Basel? Anyway, they both were very nice. I let them sign my "Discography" singles compilation. I even got a photo with Tennant and me on it.
Your old mate? Envious actually because they are one of those acts where I like practically everything they've done - including Potemkin.
Incidentally I bought Aqualung by Jethro Tull yesterday for the first time.

Great album...especially Cross-Eyed Mary is a spectacular rock song.
Wilco were on Colbert's show last night.
