Two brothers. Scottish, one a GP in a small town, the other his recently divorced brother, come to stay. They don't get on. Local minister is not very bright. Alcohol came into it somehow.

My memory is very hazy. I would have watched it on BBC Prime in the early 2000s.
My best memory is of the minister, trying to get them to reconcile their differences, referring them to the brothers in the bible - but he couldn't remember if it was the Righteous Brothers or the Everly Brothers.
Do you remember it as an episode or a series?
It might of been a People Like Us episode.
It was definitely a series.
Did it have him in it? He's Scottish.
