New order from one of my favourite albums of all time.

I think this is the 12" single version though and it's on a double compilation.

Just caught this on 6 Music. I'd never heard it before but thought it was great.

Bowie - The Gospel According to Tony Day

Right now, the first hour of Johnnie Walker's Sounds of the 70s, dedicated to Bowie - brilliant.

Hunter Ronson Band album Yui Orta.

Both big Bowie connections.

Hanging On The Telephone-Blondie

George you're a bugger for Blondie. I was crestfallen when I found out she'd lied to us all, she's not a natural blond. Rolling eyes

I'm a huge Bowie fan, and I haven't listened to a single song. Did watch the half-hour BBC tribute on the day though.

I'm a bit similar to that because being a Bowie fan I play his stuff every so often anyway. I didn't need him to die to urge me to listen.

I am still waiting for my vinyl copy of the new album though.

You're older than I thought George.

Does anyone know a song that has a lyric like "Get on the same train"?

The band sounds like the La's at least from the clip I've heard.

I'm guessing it is 2000s though.

Bowie - The Gospel According to Tony Day

Interesting.

I'm with GK in that it is a bit difficult to listen to the favourite Bowie tracks at the moment.

Also, they are playing this on Talksport - how big was it? - it sounds like something else (Reverend and the Makers - Heavyweight Champion of the World or something much earlier)? It's obviously a strong pop single.
