Best sitcoms this year Page 2

Thanks Reds,
Man Down was excellent last year. I'm particularly joking, I hope no one's watching Schumer, but what else could they be watching. I guess everyone got Netflix this year.

Thanks Boom,
I'll check out all these things, especially Peep Show!

The only shows I stuck with for the full series were Peep Show, Toast of London (which hasn't quite finished yet) and Man Down (or was that last year?).

People Just Do Nothing looked decent but I missed most of it, Boy Meets Girl was more than just bad, it was 'make you angry' bad.

I agree with Boom, not exactly a great year for quality new comedy.

Sorry, thought I'd posted this - but check out SunTrap. It takes a bit of getting into, but it's worth it IMHO.

I voted Man Down and Siblings as my favourite sitcoms last year. Apparently Man Down season 2 came out this year. It doesn't get good reviews, but it's up on YouTube so I'll watch that now. Still waiting on Siblings season 2.

And thanks, I'll find SunTrap.

Working Dog put out another season of Utopia. I haven't watched it. It probably wasn't bad if you like that kind of thing.

My co-writer wrote on that. It's called Dreamland over here (we have a show called Utopia) and is on Netflix.

That and Laid s1 were the best things I've seen from your end of the wicket.

I probably should give it a go. I used to be a huge fan of working dog many years ago. I still occasionally log on to http://www.champagnecomedy.com/ which is a site like this devoted to them, with a forum and all. hah.

Weird the way they change the title for different countries.

I quite liked Peter Kay's Car Share I thought that was fantastic.

Agree about Car Share, so funny and such a simple idea. Toast of London remains my favourite.

As much as I dislike Peter Kay, I did love Car Share. I even watched all the repeats last week. Not my favourite sitcom of the year or anything, but very good indeed.

Thoroughly enjoyed Car Share - summat a bit different, with Peter Kay pushing the boundaries by not going safe.

Detectorists.

I haven't been a fan of any of the new sitcoms in 2015, but returning sitcoms I liked include Still Open All Hours, Modern Family, The Goldbergs, The Big Bang Theory (though sometimes it is a bit stale) and Car Share.
