Luke didn't say much did he?
Star Wars: The Force Awakens (with spoilers)
Darth Vader's (David Prowse) inter-galactic safety advice before going into hyper-drive:-
"Stop, Luke and Listen"
If you play a Replacements album on the way back from seeing Star Wars, your 4-year-old grandson might start singing "Gary's got a Boner."
I figured he'd forget it, but 10 minutes later I asked him what Gary had and he replied correctly.
I'm a bad grandpa.
For some reason, they didn't show the new film at my cinema; instead they re-edited the original movie, and added Katniss playing lead.
I liked The Force Awakes. Maybe not quite as amazing as many of gushing reviews floating about, but very good.
Maybe joint 3rd best film with Return of the Jedi.

With Caravan of Courage and The Battle of Endor being first and second I assume.
Just seen it.

That. I remember Episode 1 and 2 being boring and lifeless...but this one was fun and had some of the feel of the original feel.

It was feely good then.

Some of the feel?
Rather than being an enthralling story of good versus evil, I felt it was a cautionary tale of being careful what you wish for. For decades, people have (with some justification) been criticising Lucas for betraying his original vision, and now finally we get something which appears to be the authentic article, except for in one key area; it has none of the 'originality' of the 'original.' In several places, it even wandered over the line into straightforward (and admittedly amusing) parody.
TLDR: To be authentic to the original, be different from it.
Naughty Ben. Naughty.
FINALLY saw it today. Can't believe I didn't see any spoilers whatsoever.
Good job, internet!
I haven't seen any spoilers either but then again I don't watch Star Wars so you can tell me anything and I wouldn't know what was spoiler and what wasn't.
I think you'd probably recognise the biggest spoiler as a spoiler.
I'm not a Star Wars person either. The original films make me fall asleep! But this was ace.

You should try them again then.
Maybe I will. I'll give a rewatch of the other three a miss though.
