Aw, my dad secretly shaved his 'tache and beard completely off overnight and made everyone shit themselves the next morning. You dodged a bullet there.

Greatest Sci-Fi Movies on Channel 5 I recorded, and I have to say it was very good, which is summat because I usually find me zipping through their documentaries with all their padding; but this one is certainly worth a watch and is available on catch-up - I just checked on my digi-box.

My Stepfather, however grew a beard in the mid 80s and then proceeded to do David Bellamy impressions, thus scaring two old ladies outside Butlins.

Touches on them, but is mainly sort of 60s onwards - some interesting trivia too.

Thanks, I shall have a gander.

:D I think you will enjoy it.

Clearly someone pointed out that the Christmas tree on the BBC breakfast prog. was what you would call slightly over the top - in fact, it was f**king ridiculous in that you literally could not see the tree for decorations and now some have been removed.

It beggars the question why did the person who originally dressed it thought it looked OK and how many hundreds of pounds of licence payer's money were spent on it and the twat that decorated it in the first place. :S

Tongue in cheek I 'spect, but they looked at tad more expensive than what you would get in a pound shop and I should imagine it was farmed out to a "professional" decorator so God knows what the bill would have been.

Bah humbug...... Angry

"A professional Christmas Tree Decorator" - what a career!

Long holidays though - OK if you can survive on working one day a year.
