Heh. I was talking to my friend the other night and I said to them I had offered to get the crisps for Christmas Day. Clearly I watch/ read to many things about UK because in Australia we would just say chips or potato chips.

Sadly you are getting more like the U.S. by the day. I thought we were bad enough in the UK, but you down under are taking it two (for Billwill :P) far.

Bah, humbug. Good job that I'm not a mod on this forum, ot you would be banned until I had seen a photo of two hundred lines (as above) handwritten by you or your tractor.

Cool

A big bee or wasp (queen) just flew into a web on the outside of my window and a spider only half its size has killed or paralysed it and wrapped it up (for Christmas dinner ? ).

Now it is lifting it to the top of the window; strong little bugger, the insect must weigh 2 or 3 times as much as the spider.

Oh sigh if that was a queen bee, that will drastically aggravate the bee population decline. If it was a queen wasp ...

I don't have anything interesting or clever to say about this but I did enjoy reading it. You paint an excellent picture billwill. Thank you.

I can't see the wrapped insect now because Spinnie the Spider has lifted it past the window frame.

I've been out so I'm not sure if it has rewoven its trap. I don't feel inclined to go out there with a duster to sweep it away, though it is rather near the air vents.

I saw one a couple of weeks ago outside my mum's porch. It was alive - just - but I don't know how long for.

Night: BBC4 Documentary playing on screen.

Professor Worthy: Yes, the reason plankton's so appealing to whales in the Pacific Ocean is because it's specifically engineered to suit their delicate palates. Let's cast our minds back to last week's episode where I made the bold suggestion that the hammer head shark would settle down well in Wapping.

Nope, there are a few of us on here who won't be watching it.

I think I've seen one or two of them ...or bits bit of two. Clearly they made an impression.
