any ideas?

Hello,

I have only a very vague recollection of this sitcom but want to identify it. All I can recall is that it was in the early 90's, didn't last long and was based around two lorry drivers or something like it. I have only the vaguest tickle as to the name or anything else..I think the name was on one of the lorries.

Any ideas???

Chandy

Eddie Stobart?

Nope! But my brain finally came up with the theme song :)

It was "Dogfood Dan and the Carmarthen Cowboy".

Thanks anyway!

That a new one on me, was it any good?

From the vague memories I have (I would have been about 12) it was certainly watchable in a surreal way. It's reminding me of Nightingales.

It was written by David Nobbs and was about two lorry drivers who meet and tell each other about their wives albiet changing their names. The they go out with each other's wives but don't realise they know the husband.

I really want to see that show. If anyone has a copy, do PM me!

As I mentioned in another thread the original play for 'Dogfood Dan' is included on the 'a bit of a do' dvd set recently released.

I doubt the actual series itself will get a release (although i hope it does as i was big fan) so this is the closest you will get.
