Karl Pilkington: The Moaning of Life Page 2

This second series hasn't really done it for me so far. I do think he's an awful lot more funny when he's in a corner and doing things that he genuinely doesn't want to do. He just seems to be having a bit too much fun. Seems as though he's got too much control over the series and is doing things he actually wants to do.

The second episode was better than the first though.

I loved the whistling with subtitles.

I enjoyed that.

Zooo, you're a moderator, can you explain why it's been been completely missing from the front page three weeks in a row with no mention of it anywhere (except in this thread)?

I think Aaron decided a while back that Karl's shows were more factual documentary/travel show than strictly comedy.

(I may or may not have agreed.)

I could be misremembering though, I'm sure he will be along soon to explain further!

They're factual entertainment travelogues. Sky has never promoted the show as a comedy.

Ditto the hilarious Top Gear and Asian Provocateur.

Well, I guess if thems the rules, fair enough. Thanks for explaining.

I love Karl ... but the episode was s**t ... one segment quite literally. The second picked up a bit, but I still have problems with it. I hope the third is better still.

I found that the first 20 mins of the 3rd episode (until the end of the super hero segment) was pretty poor. But the rest of the episode was great.
