What are you watching on TV? Page 2,047

I can't remember what on earth happened, but I think I felt vaguely the same.

Getting ready to watch This is England '90. I hadn't realized that it had aired.

The Shane Meadows guide to an average This Is England episode:

Add approx 7 minutes of plot
Add approx 20 minutes of people yelling and screaming at each other over nothing
Add approx 3 minutes of extremely explicit and violent sex
Then top up with approx 30 minutes of the main characters sitting around smoking and/or dancing in slow motion, accompanied by corny piano music in the background

Repeat

The Avengers. I'll update you on the guest stars.

Paul Edington. And Penelope Keith apparently although she did appear in other episodes.

Another familiar face which should come to me. Oh Trevor Bannister! Of course.

Also maybe the first appearance of Mother - when he could still walk.

Ah! Clive Dunn looking like Corporal Jones a good 5 years before Dad's Army.

Yootha Joyce.

Dudley Foster.

All those channels these days and very little worth the bother. I think we had a lot more to watch when it was just BBC1, BBC2 and ITV. Channel 4 started the rot, probably ..and 'Tiswas, of course..

Having been in retail for most of my life, I do find it interesting to see behind the scenes.

I like the film and watched the previous two series. I haven't bothered with this one. It just doesn't seem like enough fun. Stephen Graham and Vicky McClure are fantastic actors though.

Quick! Someone tell Blue they're making Nuns on Bake Off right now!

Nadia (she's cute) made a Blue Nun.

I find that programme irritating, especially the ADHD greasy-haired guy.

Whattt? Like a 'Nun' Baba? I don't watch The GBBO though, I'm not a fan of Mary Berry.

....but Head and Shoulders is only £1 in store. He should take advantage of his staff discount for that kind of thing.

League Cup highlights. Who the f**k cares what it's called now?

If you're going to have AD it might as well be in high definition.

Not a fan of Mary Berry. Are you sure you're not thinking of Nick Berry? Because that I understand. 'Every Loser Wins'. No they don't Nick, they lose. Loser.

The nun thing was some sort of eclair tower. This is it:

It's the thing on the plate, not the woman holding it.
