In the UK, more than 45% of motorists are women.
On that basis, when you're waiting at a side-road junction for some kind soul on the main road to let you out, that kind soul should be a woman on more that 4 occasions out of 10, right?
But *is* it a woman 4 times out of 10?
Is it Hell as like!
You're lucky if it's a woman ONE time out of 10.
Why should that be?
Is it because women drivers are complete and utter bastards who don't give a damn about other motorists?
I think not.
I believe it's because women drivers concentrate more on their driving than men do. A woman driver is almost entirely focussed upon getting that car safely from A to B and she has little time for anything outside her vehicle that isn't an essential part of that process.
Men drivers, in start contrast. take an altogether more relaxed view of the driving process and will happily multi-task both mentally and physically while driving a car.
So, next time you're waiting to be let into a line of traffic and you've just being ignored by a woman driver who could have let you in without the slightest inconvenience to herself, don't get mad.
She's not being unkind: it's just that you're not on her radar.
