No competition.

Love the Beatles. Never loved Elvis.

I will give marks for the early Sun recordings.

Otherwise, not in my top 2000 artists.

Don't like most of the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Radiohead either. Pirate

Well at least you like the Sun recordings. :)

Should I dare you to list your top 2000? :D

I kind of agree. Wouldn't want a Presley record in my collection unless it was Reg.

Thanks very much for asking. Cool

A band you'd probably like Gordon.

Northsyde

Jules Fothergill is a brilliant guitarist and Lorna is a great singer too. They do a great Whipping Post.

And you're right I like it. A funky bluesrock band. I like female singers that sound like they're having whiskey and fags for breakfast.
Surprisingly, the third song in the videos section is a cover of Phil Collins' In The Air Tonight (!!!) :S

They came out of a band called Roadhouse who used to do loads of local gigs.

I think they're still going. http://www.roadhousegb.liveblues.info/home/

That's a crap recording!

John cooper Clarke - 36 hours

John cooper Clarke - 36 hours

Do you get a break?

Me and a mate used to go to every London gig - and some beyond - these guys played in the late 70's.
They've reformed for a one-off at Dingwalls- so, naturally, we're going to that one too...

Elton John - Lady Samantha

Elton John - Lady Samantha

Really love that song. Second single I think. Before he became big!

Some cool jazz on Spanish radio.

A chart from May 1985. Depeche Mode are playing :)

Air Cut by Curved Air. This features the lineup including Eddie Jobson on keys and violin before he joined Roxy Music and Kirby on guitar.

Now got Victory in Rock City by Roderick Falconer.

The single from this was a missed gem. Play it Again.
