The all-in-one consolidatory football thread Page 634

The trouble with televised football is I don't think the average fan gives a toss about who presents it, who the pundits are and all the gimmicks. They just want to see the actual football.

And that's what you seem to get little of with the Channel 5 prog. The BBC programme was far superior.

I didn't watch it but the first review I saw of it seemed to say it was a mess but the second said it was quite intense.

So Chelsea's appeal against Coutois's red card failed - as it should do.

I thought if clubs appeal but lose then the player gets an extra match suspension.

Loved this in my team's report regarding an opponent in last night's game.

"who for the second time in the evening gave the initial impression of having suffered a season-threatening injury before recovering."

Thought Van Gaal had decided Januzaj was rubbish and was wanting to get rid. He hasn't got a clue how to manage - the worst manager in the Premiership - but it looks as if they could do well enough to achieve something this season in the most boring way possible. Such is the power of money.

Great result for QPR last night against Wolves. Great fight back with committed performances from Phillips and Austin.

Love it! Though I feel sorry for the poor dog. Couldn't he have gone somewhere better?

I kind of feel sorry for Southampton but maybe Koeman is being punished for his history.

Laughing out loud

I should say well done Swansea but they were at home, they're unbeaten this season and they were only playing a mediocre team.

Well, it's all gone tits up at Chelsea.
Not sure I shall be frequenting the thread much this season.
:(

It's only 4 games - I think!

At least enjoy what's going on a Old Trashford.
