Are there any Scottish comedy writers out there?

Hi, is anyone out there writing a Scottish based sitcom? There seems very little, of any worth, happening on this front just now - or am I wrang?

...obviously not!

I had an idea for a Scots sitcom. It could be a good market, even for us lowlanders.

You're wrang. Five new sitcoms are being showcased live in Yesbar Glasgow on the 8th of September as part of The Sitcom Trials. Come along and help pick a winner!

There must be hundreds of Scots who write sitcoms outside Scotland? Armando Iannucci and Michelle Gomez for a start.
