When I met Tom Jones, I'd been to 'An Audience With' I was invited to the private party afterwards. At the end of the evening, Tom his son (tom's manager) and Mick Hucknel were talking but I wanted to say goodnight to MIck, so I stood waiting patiently for a break in their conversation. Tom's son leaned over to me and said....'f**k off, we're talking' Tom just laughed and turned his head so I said to him...'Is that how you brought the f**ker up then, speaking to the elderly in that manner'
I said goodnight to Mick adding....'don't ever turn out like that'
he laughed and said ...'he's nothing to do with me'
I've never liked Tom since even though I've now got a set of his CDs signed by him at the party

He was though, seriously! He was so up himself and preachy and just rude about all the other bands that were on that day, including my friend! He was a nightmare to my other friend who was doing the tech stuff. The things that makes me laugh is he goes on about fair trade yet is happy to be snapped in the north face jackets and addias trainers which have not exactly have the best reps in using sweatshops.
