Heaven loves ya
The clouds part for ya

When you're a boy.

That's how it starts, we go back to your house
You check the charts and start to figure it out

All My Friends
LCD Soundsystem

How much of this stuff do he think we can stand?
So much rhythm, grace and debonair for one man, Lord
And then he had the nerve to wiggle his left toe

Not a clue.

It sounds a bit like Genesis when Peter Gabriel used to be half-hedgehog and half-sunflower. :S

See Steve, I am not the only one that is :S ing.

Oh it was the lyric being obscure
fair enough

It's by the Detroit Spinners if that helps

It was Called the Rubberband man (perhaps a bit hard)

Here's another

I have my books and my poetry to protect me
I am shielded in my armour

:D Early 60s

Got PM from Chappers and I wondered what the f**k he was on about - over a year ago?!?!?

We got enough trouble with Barry Cross :D

Here it is then, better late than never. One of my all time favourite early 60s guitar groups:-

What prize do I win, especially as I stumped Billwill as well. Cool

I like to change the lyrics of crap songs while doing housework such as:

"I really can't be arsed right now, so I'll just do it later"

rather than the real version:

"I think I'd better leave right now, before I fall any deeper"

. . . which is a bit rubbish, frankly - if only the writer had called me first.

:P

"Val Doonican as himself"?
