Is this the solution to the Chav menace?

Unless it can also perform sterilisation procedures, no.

It's got a very pointy tip by the looks of things

Chavs ain't the problem - it's the do-gooder liberals, leftists and 'PC brigade' who are in the way of us dealing with the Chavs.. who in their right mind would have created a state where you get a free house because you've f**ked around irresponsibly? Don't blame the dog for crapping on the carpet when you locked him in overnight..

Very good point Frankie. And I agree. We need to discourage that kind of behaviour, not reward it.

Did you know that the quickest way to get to the top of the housing list is to got to jail. Do not pass go but collect a nice place at the the top of the housing ladder. I used to go out with a girl who worked in the housing dept of a local authority. So I'm just off to do a bit of shop lifting. Tara!

I don't need one of those, I own a sky terrier.

Well Frankie again we would appear to be barking up the same tree. Am always delighted at quite how little one needs to be earning, to not even be able to apply for council housing. Friend of mine workd for NHS, and turned down for council housing, was told she could apply for key working housing. Smae block, smae estate, same flat. Twice the rent, but who cares the state pays for housing benefit anyway, we in essence being the state.

The thing that really annoys me, is there is no insentive, no reward for wanting to better yourself. It's an equal dole out for everyone. One thing John Major said that i can agree with,

"We need to judge a little more, and forgive a little less,"

My mother is a tenants rep. She says single women get placed higher on the housing list than single men as they are classed as "vulnerable cases"!

Fair and professionally run Means Testing would be a solution but I wouldn't want it to be run by a commercial organisation and government departments don't seem capable of running anything well. We've stuffed ourselves. Nevertheless it does need tackling.
