Also, British labels only seem to give deals to white artists. The only non-whites you see at British award shows are Americans. I know the NME awards are really just for Indie groups, so it's little surprise that all the nominees are white, but you'd expect the Brit Awards to at least feature a couple of non-white nominees. They did get two awards right though. Best TV show and best dressed. (What is this, the Smash Hits awards? Where's best haircut?)

They're the only f**kers who DO recognise the Boosh with awards, though, so I'll take what I can get!

It's become a magazine too obsessed with being cool and 'scenes'.

When I was young I used to imagine it was written by 40 year old heavy drinking, heavy smoking music obsessives who knew what they were talking about.

Now it seems to be written by 20 year old toss pots.

Was I wrong the whole time, or has it changed to poo over the last 10 years?

Yes he did I think, before it started going to shit.

I like Noel's new hair!! But I think he should go back to brown. Black is too dark for him, cos he's so pale. I liked it as it was in the Boosh pilot, shortish, brown and red.

I don't read music mags cause I hate being told what to listen to. It's better to take the time to go to the shop yourself and spend the day rumaging through collections driving the assistants crazy.

As a spotty teen I hated them with a passion, but now I have to admit they are associated with some fond memories that make me go 'aaah'. Not that you would be able to agree zooo, seeing as you're nowhere near my age and would've been much too young at the time!! (can I have some good luck now please holy one?)
