Bill burr is a decent one...can hear some of then on YouTube too.
I think there is a cool site that is going to start podcasts...worth a look in meantime. Www.shizz.me

The Joe Rogan Podcast can be very good. Although I find him to be a very average comedian, he surrounds himself with guests from all walks of life and the entertainment industry. The discussions can be really interesting and at times eye opening. It won't have you bawling your eyes out with laughter 90% of the time but it's always good to dip in and out of. Therea are video and audio versions.

Can I offer an obvious piece of self-promotion and suggest you give this a listen?

It's a sketch show that I co-wrote and produced, four 20 minute episodes to be released on iTunes (2 up so far).
It would be great to get any feedback from anyone!
Hello all - I'm new to this forum. Looking to check out some new podcasts and also share ours. Looking for comedy and MMA podcasts. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Roland

I don't listen to podcasts for the same reason that I don't listen to unsigned bands. If they were any good they'd be on the radio or TV, not uploading amateurish rubbish to negligible online audience.
The BBC create many podcasts, Basil. What about bestselling writers anyway? Do you not read them because you don't consider them successful-only ones that make it to radio or TV?
Listen to Racewars with Kurt Metzger and Sherrod Small, both guys have been on opie and anthony so many times and are really funny. They get some really good comedians on, listen to anything with Gavin Mcinnes on. Legion of Skanks is in a similar vain but not as good but it has it's moments, but they did a really good roast of one of the hosts recently. Frankie Boyle and Glenn Wool do a good podcast too
Sleepycast all the way! It's made by a bunch of American animators who make awesome stuff on YouTube. It's honest, it's interesting and it's incredibly funny.
Listen to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaftmglesBQ .
I'm a fan of JRE, O&A and MMPC (though Burr is much better when he has someone like to Joe DeRosa as a co-host).
I think the best is still opie and anthony, you can find so many shows on YouTube. People have uploaded everyone of patrice o'neals, louis ck, colin quinn, Bill burrs appearances. They have so many comedians who come in and Jim Norton is so funny. The radio format is better because some podcasts seem to kind of ramble on aimlessly, but the radio show is more focused.

Basil Rathbon I think that you would be surprised. There are some amazing Podcasts out there, but to each their own. All good.

It's generally considered as welcome as knob cheese at a lesbian buffet but I quite like their ill-advised views and comments on obscure news stories.
