lego man myself. Had Meccano but its not the same. Lego has the advantage of being easier to construct.

Exactly.

You'll find out all about that in my new play.

Whilst that's true Nige, I used to enjoy Meccano as well because you could cuss like your dad when you dropped a washer or nut or the spanner slid off the nut, etc.

my dad swears four times a year when he goes on the drink and he only drinks quarterly.

Don't you just hate these types that talk in URL's? Angry

I like the odd quart myself! :D

What is an Url?

Just blowing my own trumpet - no-one else will. Not even Charley.

Uniform resource locator. URL.

Eg

https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/

http://www.google.co.uk/

http://news.bbc.co.uk/

http://www.somesite.com/somefolder/somesubfolder/somefile.ext

And so on.

Thanks Aaron - I think he thought I cared.

He's talking through his URL's!

legolegolego.

But what I really want is a scalextrics.
Scalextrix?

Whatever.

I always wanted Scalextric stuff too. Got a Nigel Mansell branded cut-price kinda thing for Christmas one year, but found it a bit limiting.

Plus, the same limitations as my Hornby aspirations - no space. :(

I wonder if they'll be selling Mr Frostys this year.

Not frostyboy, mind.

Frosty was too cool for his own dude!

Meccano ... used to love the gears and stuff ... tricky with Lego!

Legos! ;)

Bloody colonials.
