BTW: Apologies if yours was a humourous post and I just didn't get it and so answered too seriously.
.

No - I wrote it quite seriously although I know what you mean about being slightly behind the times.

I write that as, whilst I've no idea what they actually thought of my material, as there's no feedback past being used or not, I got loads of material in 2014 run 1, then nothing in run 2 though for a few weeks I sent just as much material and had faith in what I sent. My (possibly incorrect) assumption is that the 2 directors had very different opinions of my style/tone. It could have put me off for good if I'd had months of a director that used nothing...

The only feedback you get is if they select it.

You'll find different Director's have different opinions and tastes.

I wrote for News Revue today
I heard about a lucky wit it got him laid
Although he took it up the arse
It was really quite a farce
But I just had to look.
It was Barry Took.

I think this is the funniest thing I ever did write.

It doesn't even scan properly!

Who was this lucky wit and, more importantly, where had this gal escaped from?

I don't care it's genius humour not a cheap multi function printer from Office Depot.

I sent them something UKIP based. They seem to be desperate enough at the moment.

EDIT: Not that desperate though. Made me feel better though. Ish.
