They don't seem like the types to make public announcements abount their private lives or do a photosheet for OK! magazine. That's the other David & Victoria.

Anyway, congratulations to the Coren-Mitchells.

I knew about it because I follow both of them - on Twitter, I've not stalked anyone for years now. They did keep it rather quiet though, but David talked about it on The Jonathan Ross Show a few months ago.

Barbara's a bit of a retro name isn't it?

Oh yes, it was no secret that she was pregnant, it was just that about the time it was due there's was no news at all, and not being a stalker like you, I was just curious as to why it was kept a secret.

Yes, Barbara? Oh dear no. Very 50s.

I saw it on Twitter too, and I don't even follow them!
It wasn't a secret, they're just not tabloid whores. I wish everyone was the same. :)

I noticed that on last night's show she was given a rostrum(?) to stand behind during the Connecting Wall round to hide her bump.

They seem a nice couple, now a family. So much better than say, Giles Coren, who just seems to annoy me.

Isn't she somehow Alexander Armstrong's sister in law? I'm sure he said that once.
What witty and urbane family gatherings they must have...!

Ermmm, not quite - Giles Coren's wife Esther Walker is the sister of Hannah Snow, who is married to Alexander Armstrong.

Taken from The Tatler, don't yer know. Whistling nnocently

Like the tabloids care about who they "expose" Unimpressed

Yes, I recall AA taking about it on Pointless, plus they appeared together on a seasonal programme about booze.

Here we go again. Having had one of my comedy sketches plagiarised many, many years ago and which put me off comedy writing, I now find one of the questions I submitted and had turned down being used on tonight's programme. Angry

Could be coincidence but I am not a happy bunny.

I remember writing a question about Obelix's occupation which ended up on Eggheads. Had it been stolen? No idea.

Was it the motorway service station question?

Not sure why they can't pay you if you submitted for a previous series and they use it now. It does show they can't do without you, Herc.

No, it was the Pi Picture Sequence one, which I sent in on the 11th December 2013. Not the same photos but certainly the same idea of knocking off the last letter to finish up with Pi.

I will be contacting the Question Editor in due course. Angry

Thank you for the sentiment Paul. :)

As a post script..........................

Personally I thought that was a crap question, but when it is set by one of the Senior Question Writers, what else can you expect?

In the past I have sent in really obscure questions and then get told by the Question Editor that it is too tenuous or specialised. One rule for them and one for the plebs - same with comedy script writing I have found.

Amen to that, brother!

I got that one at Pint! Chuffed, I was.

Waiting now to hear from the Question Editor about my "plagiarised" question in last night's prog., but in the meantime I have had this email from their accounts dept.:-

Hi (Herc) Laughing out loud ,

I've spoken with Alan and he's confirmed that we've included some of your questions in Series 11. When I know how many have been used I'll be back in touch with you so that you can invoice us. Alan will be in touch regarding questions for the next series in due course.

Many thanks
Chris
