Average Day In the Office

Basically an average day where I work.

The character of "Ben" is used for identity protection.

SCENE. INT. CALL CENTRE. DAY

A man is sitting at his desk with a headset on infront of a computer.

A call comes through.

BEN (AGENT)
(upbeat)
Good morning, you’re talking to Ben on tech support how can I help?

WOMAN
Yeah, my computers not working.

BEN
You don’t say. Is it plugged in?

WOMAN
Is what plugged in?

BEN
Your computer.

WOMAN
Oh, I don’t have a computer.

BEN
Right, you need to go to a computer shop and by one, you do know that right?

WOMAN
Ooooh! Ok, I’ll go get one now, bye bye

BEN
That’s fine, thanks for calling, goodbye.

BEN takes his headset off calmly

BEN
(To his manager as he slowly gets up)
Dennis, I’m going to kill myself, I’ll be back in five!

END.

Not bad, interesting to see the telephone helpline gag from the otherside.

I liked Dennis. Possible spin-off?

If you ever get dead silence on the line for a few second it's probably us calling you a twat. Not YOU but the person on the end of the phone of course. Errr

I liked it. Especially if it was played strait and quick.

A bit too close to IT Crowd though.
