Hold on this could go in the what are you eating thread
In a short while anyway.

Watch that space

That's got to be Zappa with or without the Mothers of Invention.

Gordon can advise us if you won't do and prefer to be oblique. :)

New Beck single. Sounds a bit Foster The People-ish.

I sense a developing narrative. Neil's hanging on a limb, riding his llama. He wants forgiveness because Satan has possessed Gregg's woman, and they're all chasing her in the street.

Or something like that.

Interesting, but surely not my intention. You know, for me as a non English speaking person it's like:

blah blah blah girl blah blah kill blah blah blah llama blah girl again blah blah cock blah blah woman blah blah racing in the street blah blah blah die blah blah blah kiss my ass blah blah blah... and so on. ;)

Hey, I know the perfect album for you.

Van Halen - 1984

Hey Lofty, you'll appreciate this.

Picked this up recently. Assumed it was by John Peel favourites, The Nightingales from Birmingham, who derived from punk band, The Prefects (who were on the bill at the Rainbow the same night I saw the Jam, Clash, Subway Sect, and Buzzcocks).

Turns out this cd is by a completely different band with the same name, from Finland, and is totally nuts.

At least I only paid a quid for it. :)

I'm listening to a Finnish band now. Murmansk - Eleven eyes to shade. Apparently there is an Irish Murmansk too.

Anyway quite interesting, urgent, energetic guitars and sound. I'd recommend it to anyone with an open ear.

Open enough?

* If you're interested in that sort of thing Google for "ear injured" (like I did) and you will see that there are lots of pictures that are far better suited for my little joke than the one I chose in the end (I didn't want zooo to ban me)...but make sure there is a sick bucket on your side.

Sick
