Thank God for that - I thought it was me.
Had the telly turned up to '11' and still couldn't make out the dialogue.
Switched over to Dave and nearly blew the windows out.

Laughing out loud

I was going to watch that this weekend, do you think I should bother?

In a word, NO.

I'll watch one more (3rd) and probably give up as there are 7 episodes and am not sure if I want to devote that much of my life to something I am a bit disappointed with. Silly plot for one thing.

If you have fancy new TVs or not, look under the TV settings, sometimes you will find options to enhance the voice/dialogue, for example on my LG TV, it is called "Clear Voice".

You could also turn down the bass and turn up the treble.

Is there a function for improving the story?

Yes, it's called turning the TV off and encouraging every other bugger to do so, until the programme makers change it for the better to then encourage you all to come back.

On my LG TV, it is called "Standby".

A documentary about George Gershwin on BBC4.

Hey, they mentioned Frank Ifield on HIGNFY...I know him from Herc's racist jokes about Switzerland.

By the way, I can't stand Janet Street-Porter.

Laughing out loud Odd one out picture question about yodelling on HIGNFY!

How can jokes about yodelling be racist. :(

(very sensitive, the Swiss)

I really didn't know Sepp could sing/yodel...Berlusconi and him are even more similar than I thought.

I always thought Blatter and Berlusconi were interchangeable.

The Auction House on C4 - Lott's in Chelsea. It reminds me of Harry Enfield's "I saw you coming" shop - grossly overpaid people spending obscene amounts of money on tat.

Just saw the Irn Bru advert where the new mother wants to call her baby Fanny as there was a long line of Fannys.

Series Three. Saw most of the first two series. Quite enjoyed it. Looks like it's on 4seven, rather than C4.

Edit - Ah, C4 on Wednesdays at 8pm.

Don't think his manager William is going to last much longer - bit of a twit, or even a twat.

Christ! In a pub watching Jack Whitehall hosting 'Live At The Apollo' - it's like a Nuremberg Rally with a less- characteristic Adolf. Jack trying to introduce social realism, though I don't believe him.,,. National Socialism suits him better.

I watched 5 minutes or so. It was like a relay. Saw the end of Smug bastard then I saw Jon Richardson who was quite funny.
