Radio show poll - your 5 favourite Motown Songs Page 2
Done!
Just voted but there are some acts where in my mind they have better songs.
"It's a shame" by the Motown Spinners is my favourite Motown song.
I also voted for Aretha Franklin to make you look stupid.
(I didn't really!)
Not ignoring you Tuumble it's that . . well y'know.

I like the Stevie Wonder ones, but I'm not so keen on the Jackson 5 one. (Still voted for it though, as I love them!)
We are such complainers.

!
One of the first Motown songs I remember from my days listening to Radio Luxembourg.
Going to a go-go by Smoky Robinson and The Miracles...
Not strictly Motown, but Wilson Pickett's version of Hey Jude makes the Beatles' version sound timid.

Not at all Motown!
If I had my time again I would probably choose a different list of 25. I only used the tracklisting from one 3CD compilation and we know that those can rarely be considered definitive. I probably needed to look at CD1 from 3 different sets!
Anyway, the point is we have had around 60 people vote (for some reason not everyone pics 5) so it's a reasonable sample. Interestingly we've got SEVEN tracks locked on the same total covering positions 8 to 14 so if you haven't given me your choices your vote really can make a difference.
