I think it's admirable seeing that he could have opted for a lazy royal life as in Edward
Prince Harry. On The Front line Page 3
Edward? Can't we strap a nuclear bomb to him, and send him off to record a documentary on the Taliban. Then blow him up.
He's the most obnoxious of them all, he once was somewhere or other and asked 'Do you know who I am?' no and who cares you tw*t
Bush, that's not fair. When he asks who he is, I suspect he genuinely doesn't know.

How can you say that about the man who brought is It's A Royal Knockout?
Plus, are those the only two options? Lazy Royal or Soldier? If he wanted to do something worthwhile he'd become a binman or get a job in a tollbooth.
What about Charles, with his belief shoving 20 pints of coffee up your bum cures cancer, sycophantic love of the most feudal Mulsim states (and rudeness to democratic Israel), and that crappy little village in Dorset. He's his own court jester.
No wander Harry would rather be living in a ditch in Afgahnistan then living near him.
I'd put the whole of the Royal Family on the front line if I had my way. The First Windsor Suicide Bomber Brigade.

What the laziness of running his own reasonablyish successful TV production for years, and working in the theatre? Yeah, damn him and his layaboutness.
To be fair to the royals, they can't really do proper jobs like the rest of us, which is why so many do end up in the military.
And with no family money, to help, and never, ever, ever relying on his family name. Hoorah for him, and that other hard working self made man George W Bush.
Maybe so. But are you seriously telling me that, given the chance, you wouldn't use family connections to help you in your career, if applicable? I assume you're another failed writer, so if a cousin of yours happened to be dating the head of comedy at TalkbackThames, you wouldn't try and use that connection to your own gain?
Talking of George W. Bush, while it's true he's been a disaster, and he needed the Bush surname to get as far as he did, he still managed to appeal to the three main wings of the Republican party (the neo-cons, the evangalists, and the small government brigade), something none of the recent Republican candidates managed to do. And something which will no doubt cause John Mclain headaches down the road as the the evangelic wing start to dismantle him piece by piece.
Oh dear God, I have kicked off the lay of GWB thread, is this how Frankenstein felt?
I've been writing for just over 6 months, I think I'm waiting to have written long enough to be considered a failure.
As for family connections, maybe I'd use them, but then I'm lazy. World is full of people who didn't Joe King, changed from Joe Hill only after two succesful novels in his own right.

Was that before or after lunch?
Anyway, quite rightly, they are bringing Harry boy home. He's played at being a soldier, posed for the pictures gun in hands and suitably grim-faced, and now hopefully that's an end of it.
