Agree, there is just something that does not gel with him, for me. The part is needed, but I think he is the wrong actor.

Just came to me..........startled rabbit in the headlights of McKellen and Jacobi, whereas Frances takes it all in her stride, having seen and been in it all before.
The part is right, but the actor is in awe of where he is and this shows through.

Sadly he's like that in pretty much everything. Can just about tolerate him in GoT, but very little else.
Delighted to now report the show returns on Monday 1st June. I was lucky enough to be in the audience for Episode 1, and can promise it'll delight fans of the show.

So glad it is coming back soon. The first series was excellent so I expect nothing less but the second series to be as good, if not better.

Yes! Just saw that tonight on an ad., but why all the f**king secrecy on the part of ITV. 
To be fair, it is rarely more than about 2 and a half weeks that any channel publicly confirms its schedule.
