Funny Thing is back.... And we need writers!

Submissions are now open for the next three episodes of Crooked Pieces' "And Then She Said A Funny Thing... " comedy podcast.

We're on the hunt for sketches, rants, poems and funny words by brilliant women writers to feature in one of our next 3 episodes.

Selected pieces will be performed and recorded in front of a live audience at Omnibus Clapham on 17 Jul 2015.

Want to join us?

The only rules are that submissions must be:

1. Comic writing
2. Suitable for audio performance and recording by humans
3. Written by a woman (or women)

Check out our pilot episode here to get the gist. http://ow.ly/ML6m3

Up for it? Ace. Send submissions to funnythingpieces@gmail.com by 1 June 2015.

That's a bit sexist isn't it? Is it allowed in the 21st Century?

Women can be sexist. Men can't.

Have you met my sister Stephanie (it's a nom de plume of course)

Desperately trying to get my sex change before the closing date.

Just claim you're a woman trapped in a man's body and you identify as a lady.

Call yourself Slappers or something.

You just can't get the distaff!
