I went running

I started going running just before christmas and now run a whole 2 miles every couple of days!

I've tried running a few times over the past couple of years, but really hated it. However, this time I seem to be enjoying it and running further.

I used to run for my school and a local club, but got bored with all the early morning events/training. It's shocking though that at the age of 25 I'm nowhere near as fast as when I was 14!

Never to late. I ran the London Marathon when I was 40. Before starting to train furthest I'd run was the 200m for the school. But I was fitter at 40 than when I was playing rugby every week.

Ps In the photo of me crossing the line there's some old bastard of a sixty year old finishing in front of me. What a c**t!

I go swimming two or three times a week, and I'm not as fast as I was when I was 14/15, its such a disappointment!

I usually can't be bothered to do it, but when I do go jogging, there is something about it that is weirdly enjoyable! Especially on a nice sunny day.
I got a bit addicted last year. Sadly, that's all worn off now and I am slovenly again.

I don't find the process of exercise particularly enthralling, but the satisfaction when you get home is so rewarding.

Yeah. Being covered in sweat rules!

I was a good runner at school, was also really good at cross country.
Last year I was friends with a premiership and international footballer, before he left to go abroad, and I was foolish enough to offer him a race. He was miles ahead in the space of 2 seconds so I just stopped and pretended I'd got an instant stitch. Oh wait, actually I did get an instant stitch.

I walk from my bed, all the way down stairs, every morning.
This keep fit lark is an arse.
Used to go to the Gym, got bored. Used to play squash, but the ball hated my raquet. Used to go to the pool, but I cant swim & standing in the shallows, in my arm bands got tiresome. It also looked ridic.
Tried jogging, liked the way the shorts were cut, but after 14 O's you need to sleep. :(

I do walk the Woo Woo's on occasions, but one hates peeps on bikes & I have seen several cyclists fall into the canal. Well worth the abuse I get for the laugh, but some f**ker started a petition. :(

I've done 4 London Marathon's but none since 1999. It may account to 15 stone frame now.

That's why I like getting involved in sports if I can. It's great exercise but it's fun and you don't even know you're doing it.

Something like going to a gym or jogging is just cold hard in your face exercise to me and I just don't have the interest.

Laughing out loud

I go to the gym. I should go more. Erm.

Who who who?!

He wasn't a big name by any means, nothing to really get excited about. And I doubt you would even know his name Charisma. It was still very surreal being friends with him though, seeing him on sky sports and motd etc.

Oh just say the name. Charisma would know, I'm sure of it.

SAY IT, JEW BOY! *shakes fist menacingly*

I'm big on my football, I'm sure I will know him. If you tell me who he is, I'll tell you the Prem footballer I'm good mates with, whers its similarly surreal that hes now made it after I used to play with him when we were young etc.
