Oh, I'm pretty unique in that regard...at least for my age, although I'm no real spring chicken myself.

I do find that quite amusing, that thing with us Swiss being the happiest people in the world. Maybe we are good in hiding it. I think we are a bunch of miserable moaners. Having a full wallet (which by the way is a cliche) and a high life expectancy doesn't necessarily make you a happy person.

It would be the lack of sea I'd find difficult. In fact, I do in Britain as I've always had to live inland.

Oh yes, a sea would be nice. Personally, 12 months summer a year would make me quite happy.

Where is Britain in that ranking?

So while we're told "we're all in it together" with regard to austerity, news comes out that the rich are now twice as rich as they were a decade ago.

To put it mildly, yes with maybe an effin' in front. I could go on at length about things like tax inequalities, but what's the point - they are all "up top" feathering each other's nests (eggs), while some poor sod on a minimum wage has to justify say working tax credits with a degrading means test.

Instinctively it will be to many. But it may be illogical to be disgusted. Most of that super rich list are foreigners living in London. So they have brought their huge wealth to London and UK. It's that which has increased the rich-poor gap so it's also contorted it.

Whether or not that's true, it's still a bit far-fetched to claim we're all in it together, when clearly The Rich are profiting during this time of austerity.
