It would have been cleverer and more ironic, and more palatable if it was funnier in my view. There's alot to be said on immigration, but writing stuff that Jim nick nick Davidson would consider abit dated isn't it. n.b. there's at times a knee jerk defence of racist jokes on this forum, that at times feels a little un thought through.

We are no longer allowed to call ourselves English for Christ sake! When did any of you last fill in an official form of any kind, which provides a box to tick with the word English in it? Thought so!
We have a Scottish pm that is destroying anything and everything English. Immigrants are flooding in at a rate of 200,000 a year whilst English people are leaving in their droves.
This sketch is a skit on how things could be if we don't get a grip on our borders and put in place a government that will look to our interests for a change.
I could just as easily have used an Iraqi or a Rumanian character or any number of nationalities.
The Scottish character would remain because it is a dig at what one bloody man is doing to bring us down. In my view!
We are all entitled to our opinions. If you see it as racist then that's your problem as I on the other hand find jokes about kids killing themselves, tasteless and that is mine.

Immigration whining is my pet hate - i figure that anyone threatened by it has a pretty weak grip on their own standing in this country or is a Daily Mail reader.
As for the gag - if the old couple were black and the Asian was a white yank the gag would still be the same on paper....but wouldn't work in reality, thus highlighting the problem.
They don't want to be English and hate the very thought/sight of us. They hate our decadence and chav way of living as that's how they see us all. There is no allegiance whatsoever to the country they live in anywhere other than Islam countries, their loyalty is to Allah full stop.
