Just A Minute - Forum Style

Write either (i) for 60 seconds or (ii) 60 words without editing your post.

When completed:

The next person can say whether you have used hesitation, repetition or deviation and explain why

or

If they think your post is faultless, you'll win the win round but they get to choose the next topic.

I will be Nicholas Parsons to start it all off. The topic is My Favourite Sauce.

So, who would like to start this first round?

I like the idea, but...........

I like the idea, but...........

Hesitation. That isn't 60 words or 60 seconds. My turn.

"Before the invention of the mobile phone, a good way of spending time in the pub when bored with the conversation was to collect all the sachets of sauce and lay them out like a rainbow on the table. Yes, it looked like an elaborate tarot card reading but it was much more simple. I was choosing my favourite sauce". (I think you'll find that is 60 words exactly - and almost certainly one point to me).

Laughing out loud BUT just a minute.............. Angry

So slow, HGT. You didn't spot that I edited it. That's clearly deviation.

As it's your first time playing the game, you can now have the subject. :)

I think a rule of JaM is that you can repeat the subject. :)

Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce

Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce

Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce

Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce

Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce

Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce

Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce Sauce

So that's 60 words - maximum points! :D

Deviation. The topic is "My favourite sauce, not just sauce."

Starting now:

My favourite sauce is HP, despite the addition of the Houses of Parliament on it. It is a brown sauce, a bit like Worcester really...

(Whistle)

Very pleased that you are in the game but deviation.

HP is nothing like Worcester - the city or the sauce which is runny, not thick.

I am happy for you or someone else to continue as I've got Mormons coming.

And they are already late. Why on earth did I agree to it? I've now got the jitters. :S

And neither of you picked up that I had edited it. Laughing out loud

What a disappointingly slow game.

I will have to continue.

"As the charming Elders left, with the promise of revisiting me to encourage baptism, I remembered one of my favourite sauces was soy. This as anyone who has seen the musical "Book of Mormon" knows is mentioned by Elder Cross on finding he and someone similarly old called Green have been posted to Japan. "Land of Soy Sauce" the former says to which, erm, Green replies "And Mothra!"".

New topic?

New topic?

Yes sure, Paul.

Would you like to suggest one? :D

"The secret vices of A Horseradish"?

"The secret vices of A Horseradish"?

Hah, you can't have a topic that is by definition deviation.

I will have to choose.

The Weirdest Thing I've Done at a Party.

You can go first if you want. :)

On a beach surely?
