It is manly and rugged. He's probably been out chopping firewood and um, wrestling bears. He can't be clean all the time!

His hands seem ludicrously big but I've just measured them and my own ones. Both his and mine go from the lower part of the chin to the start of the hair so he is probably not as weird as he looks.
