General Election 2015 Page 4

Elements of socialism are great.

Universal healthcare and education, a welfare safety net will never be truly good economic value.

But they make civilisation I dunno civilised?

And are well worth the taxes they cost.

Unfortunately the debate seems to keep tripping into guaranteed minimum income and other foolishness. Not to mention the madness of state run/own industries.

The creation of which was defined and driven more than in part by Liberal politician William Beveridge, of course. A man who was a committed follower of eugenics...

I don't think the illustrious Aaron drinks, or I'd like to have a beer with him sometime. Maybe he can just sip water while I drink beer and ramble like an idiot?

My daughter just texted me from LAX, she's boarding a flight to Gatwick in an hour or two. Behave yourselves while she's around, ok?

Isn't Scottish Nationalism neo-liberalism? Most nationalism is very right wing.

So why, you may ask, isn't there revolution?

The clever bit is that most cannot see it because their true colours are hidden under their sporrans.

Radish you're not on the same depressing fools errand as Brand et al, looking for a secret, invincible bogy man to blame all the world's woes on?

No way Scotland will ever be allowed to leave the UK.

Just like the UK will never be allowed to leave the EU.

No it wasn't it was won fair and square.

The result of the Scottish referendum was fixed.

Why then was it not a yet more decisive 'No' victory, to quash all suggestions - already arising - of future re-votes and changes by the back door?

Ya can't make it too obvious!!
