Quite probably! He was making an audition tape for BBC2...
I figured it might be a slightly obvious choice for a sketch, but it was quite fun to write, and I always remember something Paul McCartney said about writing the melody to Yesterday. When the tune popped into his head, he was convinced it had already been written, because it was so distinct in his own head! If I didn't write it, maybe nobody else would have done, even though it felt such an 'obvious' concept. All about the execution I suppose!
Are we along the same lines..?
I see Newsjack has posted a new video up on the website with some advice for writing sketches for the show:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02lyfzm
Worth a look for the last 2 episodes, and for sketch writing in general!

I had him seeking psychological help.
Quote: Tradepressed @ 16th March 2015, 1:50 PM GMTGood luck everyone. Mine were about Julian Assange and a hairdressers becoming an internet broadband provider.
Ooh, we did Assange too. We had him as an awful house guest.
Ha. Er...yeah, he was sort of outstaying his welcome in mine too.
Great to see a huge variety of news stories and how different people think about different stories differently.
I covered: Where's Putin?
How to pick a winner (Cheltenham festival sports sketch).
Good luck again everyone!
We've sent in our oneliners.... on to the agonising wait now...
Good luck everyone!
DbM - how did you get on?
I actually wrote some one liners for once - a "no gimmicks" budget; Bond refused permission to film in the Welsh Assembly; Aston University setting up a room full of puppies for students; and the BBC giving a pundits job to a fake international cricketer. Here's hoping something lands.
Looking forward to the recording tonight.
I submitted a sketch on Pensioners being able to cash in their annunities and some one liners on shapps, putin, love scan and Rooney/milliband kitchens.
Good luck everyone.
Sketches I can recall this week:
Russia/North Korea children's show
Party leaders admitting they took drugs
Tony Blair teaching
Childish chancellors debate
Children gangsters
Sepp Blatter supervillain
Tiny bottles of wine (mine!)
Calvin Klein Baby
Grant Shapps Jekyll & Hyde
Budget for old people/Parkinson
Private Eye on plane
Police banning words
Foyles books & related gifts
Pharrell Williams stealing songs
I'll update if I remember any more and feel free to ask about yours! Really good show tonight, I think the standard this series has been great.
Any one liners about the Indian Bride, Snapchat, or New Zealand Bomb experts?
No sketch on Putin/Top Gear or Italian Football Violence, either..?

Afraid I can't recall any of those... Hard to remember all the oneliners but they don't ring any bells. There was a Top Gear sketch but it didn't feature Putin.

Thought the old people budget was really good, I enjoyed the Blair sketch too.
I just remembered there was a Fifa mafia sketch
