Jersey isn't very big. It must have been pretty easy to work out who did the murder by series 10. Once you've decided it wasn't Jim, Charlie Hungerstrike, Chappers apparent favourite Derek Jameson, her off 'Give us a Clue' or Lucy's mum from not going out, the only people left in Jersey must have been the killer and the victim. A Simple process of elimination.
I preferred the prequel series about before he was a detective. Where he wrote all those pop songs and had an affair with Dionne Warwick.
