I guess morris dancers as you'll recall that country dancing was about the third most important subject at Junior School in the 1970s. Well, it was in ours. Many happy memories of smashed knuckles in the stick dance and deliberately upsetting Mrs Waller by ensuring the star made of swords collapsed spectacularly when held aloft on fete day. Obviously stuff like loads of Pogues concerts emanated from those points.
