I need help with how to use Final Draft 8 to write a sitcom.

No one expects you to use final draft, BBC Writers Room will provide simple adjustments to make to Word.
That advice is free.

That's the user manual.
There are dozens of on-line [FREE] tutorials.
There's a BBC taped sitcom template loaded onto FD* if you want to write in that format.
FD is expensive - but if you already have it, it's by far the best writing tool out there, so why not get the most out of it.
Once written you can convert to other file types to send out.
