I hadn't even thought of those shows
The show I said I remembered her from was The Glums
She brought up the rest

Yup, she was good in that, although you can't beat the original radio series - still makes me laugh out loud now - Ron and Eth, which were my parent's names.

And what did she say about you being a 70s sex

Laughing out loud

In 1981 my mate Gary had a summer job in a local gift shop that sold all sorts of tat. He was often left on his own so me and another mate would hang round with him. One day Fun Boy Three came in and nearly bought something. What was it.?

My lips are sealed!

Awwww, that's just lunatic. Keeping us in suspenders.

How bizarre.

My parents' names are Ron and Ed(na).

They were compared with the Glums by their work colleagues in the 1950s.

At least they aren't Charles Manson and Champion The Wonder Horse.

My dad's name is Ron too! Let's form a group.

Ditto.

When I was a lot younger my father used to take me Greyhound Racing at Wimbledon where you could often rub shoulders with Charlie Drake ,Eric Sykes ,Shaw Taylor, and Dennis Waterman. A few decades later when I worked in the building trade I worked on a big house in Wimbledon Hill .The housekeeper told us the owners had hosted a party a few weeks previously and the first guests to arrive where next door neighbours June Whitfield and husband, who quickly drank a few drinks ate some food and quickly left.

My Dad's name was Tony
There should be an award for that

Wow, that's you, me, Stephen G and HGT - and if I am not mistaken there is another on BCG whose Dad was a Ron. I guess the next question is can we form a group of Dad Rons who have ever played Da Doo Ron Ron on the organ like John Shuttleworth while wearing a variety of comical hats. That's mine and, erm.....!

I was already on it..........

We could be the Dad Do Ron Ron Ron Rons........... :D
