Me too - the calculations to hit a moving target from a moving base ten years later over millions of miles are simply mind boggling. :S

Now if x = 456 to the power of -90 and y = ............no, lost already. How the hell do that do that????? >_<

Its not totally out of communication, So I expect that the calculations are going on all the time on Earth and are then transmitted to the space robot.

Too far away (long delay) to give instant control like a Radio Controlled Airplane, so I expect the robot has to be able to deal with the minute details of the commands and the commands are of a higher level than just turn-right a bit, slow down a bit etc.

Of course, but what calculations - as I said, mind boggling.

I do not really give a f**k but the audacity is absolutely shameless.

Fiddled? Love it. You should be working for the Sun.

It's even more mind boggling when you look at the long path it took to catch up with the comet.

About 4 billion miles..

4 billion miles, if that's not proof that there's an MOT conspiracy I don't know what is.

I knew that service station was dodgy when they failed my car.

Absolutely marvellous. A triumph.

Apparently they used the maths from Meaning of Life's Galaxy Song. :S
