Stella's pretty good.

Sky are still on the lookout for more, yes, and I believe are now hoping for some slightly more traditional audience sitcoms to come their way.

The ITV series you mention is The Job Lot.

Anyone know if Sky plan to carry on their investment in British Comedy? Or do things seem to be slowing down now?

They have produced a lot of solid stuff; A Touch Of Cloth, Trollied, Spy, Chickens, Doll & Em, Moone Boy, Psychobitches, Mr. Sloane etc etc

EDIT: How can I forget the new Alan Partridge stuff!

It's likely, but apart from shows like Trollied and Moone Boy there is not much news about it.

Trying Again won't be returning.

Really? Although it wasn't hugely funny I found myself rather enjoying it and there was that great whacking cliffhanger at the end. Alun Cochrane was as wooden as a forest full of big leafy things, but the other cast members were great. It was also nice to see something of the splendid Lake District.

There's another one that I've never heard of called Give Out Girls which has been broadcast on Comedy Central since mid October. I'll see whether it's available on TiVo OnDemand, failing that...? It's co-produced by Robert Popper and Tracy-Ann Overman plays the PR girls' boss.

It is rather fun.

I like Trollied and Mount Pleasant.

Hunderby!
