Tell me more about this Thatcher line.

Labour supporter's roof falls in - he blames thatcher.

Strokes chin

Well done guys, don't think I got on this week due to illness, friends 30th and travelling across the country for a stand up gig. Just didn't have the proper time. But hey-ho, 2 credits this series isn't bad.

Cheers Bonzo and well done to you an Viv, a sketch and a one-liner in the recording is a heck of an achievement. Here's hoping you (and Steve) get the good e-mail today.

Could you add some more info to your profile, DbM?

Yeah no problem (updated)

I've got something in tonight's episode, just got the e mail.
It's possibly a one liner about Thatcher
As I'm nothing if not up to date with my Topicality

We are in!!!!!

:D

Well done Bonzo, Viv and Steve. Double credits for you guys this series?

Anyone else get an e-mail?

Got something on for the first time this series. I like to leave things late, I'm cool like that Angelic

Thank you! Yes, 2 credits - eps 4 & 6.

Highly recommend working with a partner!

:)

I managed 3 & 5. I would be up for a writing partner (I know the method to successful credits/one liners now) but I find that final edit I need to give my stuff I can't do in time before the deadline

Well done everyone.

Clean sheet for me this series. Full submission of sketches / one liners each week but zero success.

Care to expand on that?

Sketches:
Well these are the rules that worked for me:
Short sharp dialogue, brevity is key, no more than two sentences per character dialogue. Know your three really strong punchlines, and your out punchline that twists the premise of the sketch. Twist on the story is as so important as the punchlines to the jokes dotted through your sketch.

One-Liners (or at least listing) - take any show, turn into a pun

Oh and CONGRATS SH, Bonzo and Viv!!!!
