I know...but nevertheless I wanted to make this statement. Because reducing me to a Zappa fan (50 Cds) is like ignoring the fact that I'd rather see myself as a music fan in general (over 4000 CDs overall). Loving Zappa stuff is only one aspect of my love for (rock-)music in general.

Still, the man has a point...

50 cds, (WOW) I would say is a pretty avid fan of somebody, no matter the overall size of the collection - and yours is big! :O

He certainly was unique! :D

Your the first man to say that to me...but thank you.

But will he be the last? Not likely!

Nice to see a Temperance Seven tribute band. Bit 'o trivia - I remember many moons ago seeing them being interviewed and when asked why Seven when there were nine in the band, and they said it was because they were always one over the eight. :D

Are you getting a bit of Alzheimers? You told us this last week.

Quote: Marissa @ 16th October 2014, 6:27 AM BST

Yeah! (Or should that be yeah yeah yeah?)

Quite like Petula Clark's heretical 20s version of Sgt Pepper. Temperance Seven homies in the house.

Can be a tad divisive, mind.

I'm afraid without Ms Clark it would be very good.

Reminds me of Mogwai.

Their first new release in eight years?

In God's name, why did they bother if this is the best they can come up with?

Well, it is just a single, they probably try to attract the plebs with "easy" stuff after such a long pause. Endless Wire was so unassuming, almost introverted, that most people didn't even realise the Who made a comeback, at least here in the rest of Europe. So hopefully the rest on the forthcoming album will be better a lot better than this throwaway single.
Still, it rocks harder than everything on Endless Wire which is not a bad thing.

I've been reliving the 90s by playing The Masterplan album by Oasis and drinking Jack Daniels. I never actually drunk any Jack Daniels in the 90s, but you get my point.

Been rubbish ever since Squeezebox.

I heard it through the grapevine - The Slits on Radio 6. Great version.

Sunshine of your love - Spanky Wilson

Surprisingly quite good.

On Radio 6 they're playing unusual cover versions.
