Import all the images into an editing programme and play each image, one after the other....the puppet will appear to move. Same principles as a flip book.
it's a very laborious process but can really add visual comedy to a piece.
Like Nightmare Before Christmas or Wallis and Gromit. With the amount of time that goes into stop motion you know their all labors of love.

Can I just get off my chest my opinion on the Oscars. Basically, it turned me into a communist. Pathetic stuff. Celebrities being so good, they can walk on a red carpet. And Tom Cruise is a wanker. Who remembers the episode of Balls of Steel when someone squirted water in his face and he went crazy at them and got the police involved. Well yesterday, some fan jumped the security and asked him for an autograph and he insisted he was arrested. The man is a muppet.
