Writers wanted

Looking for a team of three to put together a script for a pilot that has been commissioned by a British Production Company. Looking for different comedy styles.

Thanks

What's the package you are offering Mark? You have been commissioned so they have paid for script development. What up front fees are you paying the writers and what credits, payments, residuals etc to follow? Well done on getting the contract meanwhile. That's a big hurdle already over!

I don't quite get this.

Do you mean it's been accepted on maybe a treament and they want a team of 3 to write it? What is your involvement?

So, going on the link you get this

"Looking for a writer/Writers to work on a situation based comedy, based in an Air Traffic Control Tower for UK/US TV

I have already had a production company ask me to work on a script for a pilot"

The guy's a genius - he even gets gags into his recruitment ads!

If it's Air Traffic Control shouldn't the Pilot be elsewhere?

I like the sound of the US interest. That will add a lot to the commission/development pot and upfront script development fees. And international exposure as well of course.

Yes, the Yanks are very good about up front money.
Can't wait for the OP to get back with the juicy details.

How are your fingernails??

I'm up to my elbows.

Ok Mister Vet... Enough of your day job!

Take off that boater at once!

Not much pressure then. :)

Or response. Maybe it's all been a bit of a wind up to get our hopes up :(

Hmmm yes.... Teary

Or possibly just deluded.

P.S. How many people do you think have secretly PM'd him?
